HOW WE WORK

A People-Powered Approach to Strengthening Education Systems

At SEED, we work to strengthen education systems by placing people, lived experience, and collective agency at the centre of reform. We believe education systems do not change through policy alone. They change when communities, practitioners, institutions, and government actors are able to learn together, influence decisions together, and implement reforms together. Our work spans early childhood, primary, and secondary education, with a particular focus on affordable non-state schools serving underserved communities. We operate at the intersection of evidence, voice, and implementation. Rather than treating research, policy engagement, and delivery as separate activities, we work across three connected pillars that reinforce one another - Systems Research, Systems Influence & Systems Strengthening. Each one feeds into the other to ensure that evidence leads to action & action feeds back into better evidence. Together, these pillars form a continuous cycle of learning, action, and adaptation.
