HOW WE WORK

Strengthening Education Systems Through Evidence, Influence and Capacity

At SEED, our work is designed to advance education system change in Nigeria, with a particular focus on supporting inclusive policy decisions, accountable institutions, and sustainable improvements in access and quality in the affordable non-state education sector. We operate through an integrated framework of Systems Research, Systems Influence & Systems Strengthening. Each one feeds into the other to ensure that evidence leads to action & action feeds back into better evidence. This integrated approach ensures that evidence is usable, contextualised, and embedded within institutions (not siloed or academic) and that policy and practice are continually informed by real-world learning. Here is how it works:

  • Systems Research generates & synthesises evidence
from data, practice and global research to inform
    policy and programme decisions.

  • Systems Influence translates that evidence into policy
    dialogues, government engagements & multi-
stakeholder platforms that shape decisions & reforms.

  • Systems Strengthening builds the capacity of government
institutions, associations, and school systems to use
evidence, implement reforms, and sustain improvements.
